Reports To: Registered Manager / Senior Management
Purpose of Role:
To ensure the smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality care services to clients, while supporting care staff and maintaining excellent communication with service users and their families.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily care schedules for care staff, ensuring timely and appropriate service delivery.
- Communicate with clients and families to assess needs and update care plans.
- Supervise, support, and mentor care staff, promoting high standards of care.
- Conduct spot checks and service quality audits to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate records, including staff rotas, client notes, and incident reports.
- Respond to emergency scheduling changes or staffing issues promptly.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other agencies.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new care staff.
- Uphold all safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection protocols.
- Report concerns or incidents to the Registered Manager without delay.
